An article for the research journal Leida, Faculty of Design, Estonian Academy of Arts . This article explores how the collective mais uno +1 transforms Lisbon’s Metro into a site of artistic experimentation, challenging capitalist logic through play, participation, and community-driven reimaginings of economic and urban space.

The Ministry of Strange Affairs : an exploratory case study on activating play in adults within the arts

The aim of this dissertation is to study strategic tools for activating playfulness in adults within our participatory artwork, designed as a role-playing game, The Ministry of Strange Affairs (MOSA). Although play has held an important role throughout art history and is intrinsically linked to art education, there is very little academic research focused on practical methods for activating play among adult art audiences. This work therefore seeks to build a bridge between existing rational scientific knowledge on the subject and the improvisational, intuitive nature of artistic research.

Brave New World Order – Triennale Jeune Création

Conceived as a platform for emerging artists, the Triennale Jeune Création aims to support the “scene” of young contemporary creation in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. With the theme Brave New World Order, the fifth edition of the Triennale was dedicated to millennials – or Generation Y –, this generation born between the early 1980s and the late 1990s who grew up in a world where the Internet is the main source of information.
