Carlos C. Schnurres is a famous persona who likes carrots and music. Besides sharing his private life in the stories of Instagram, he also reaches out to the world with his music, short format videos and fortune telling. One day, he will be accepted as a real human being, that he is convinced of.

This ironic project is an open end project in collaboration with Gonçalo Fialho (writer) where we explore Carlos’ real potential in a fictitious space of social media as well as his fictitious potential in the real world of the public space.

Carlos has so far released 2 albums, the first ALLBOM in 2022 and his second TAXI BANANA in 2025 . He also performs regularily in bars and the streets. in 2026 he is planning his first ever concert.

‘Quero presente instinto cebola’ is a celebration of the creative flow which at times seems more like a fight than a flow but once it is resolved it feels like an elevating spiritual epiphany.
The result is an absurd dream like story of the fight for attention between the voice of reason (carlos) and the voice of madness in the search for the images and messages we want to export into the world.

Carlos was starring as the voice of reason in this performance which gave him great international fame.

Some might say that Carlos always acts as himself, but he always finds another self to apply in his acting.

2020

Short film

Carlos approaches the world with unwavering confidence and an enthusiasm for acquiring new skills. His charm lies precisely in his inability to see his limits.

And so Carlos started his acting career in the exploratory artistic cadavre exquis 'Jamais Peut-être'. Aurélie, Carlos and his two sisters were invited to inhabit and artistically appropriate an exhibition space for one week. They decided on the last day to make a gloriously mediocre experimental video called 'the Portal' with no prior editing experience.

Carlos regularily stars in his autobiographic movies where he shares his adventures. His most difficult role was in 'Carlos vai a entrevista' (Carlos goes to an interview) where he had to endure long hours of water and food deprevation in preparation for his role.
